Detecta Language Agency is currently recruiting teams, vendors, and bilingual participants for a Canadian French-English Simulated Customer Service Audio Recording Project.

This project aims to collect high-quality bilingual customer service conversations to support AI speech recognition and conversational AI technologies. Participants will simulate realistic customer service interactions using Zoom Desktop while following the required recording setup.

Project Details

• Language Pair: Canadian French ↔ English
• Project Type: Simulated Customer Service Audio Recording
• Recording Platform: Zoom Desktop
• Recording Mode: Remote
• Participants: 2 Native Speakers per Group
• Recording Duration: 1.5 Hours Original Recording = 1 Valid Hour
• Note: Some groups may require up to 2.5 Hours of original recording.

Who Can Apply?

• Native Canadian French speakers with English proficiency
• Native bilingual Canadian French-English speakers
• Teams, vendors, and recruitment partners are welcome
• Male and Female participants
• Participants with good communication skills
• Individuals familiar with Zoom Desktop (preferred)

Recording Requirements

• Simulate natural customer service conversations
• Follow the provided conversation scenarios and project guidelines
• Record in a quiet indoor environment
• Ensure clear audio without background noise
• Use Zoom Desktop for recording
• AI-generated voices are strictly prohibited

Zoom Recording Setup

1. Open Zoom Desktop → Settings → Recording
2. Enable “Record a separate audio file for each participant.”
3. (Optional) Enable Stereo Audio and Original Sound for better quality.
4. Select “Record to this Computer.”

Required Output Files
After recording, participants must submit:

• audio_main.m4a (Mixed Audio Track)
• audio_attendee_A.m4a
• audio_yourself.m4a (Individual Audio Tracks)
