Detecta Language Agency is currently recruiting native Malay participants from Malaysia for a large-scale Pair Conversational Recording Project.

The purpose of this project is to collect high-quality Malay conversational audio data to support AI and speech recognition technologies. Participants will record natural conversations in pairs using a mobile application.

This is a fully remote mobile recording project, and no professional recording setup or laptop is required.

• Recording Duration per Pair: 2.5 Hours Total
• Total Topics: 5
• Each Topic Duration: Approximately 30 Minutes
• Required Total Participants: 500 Pairs

Who Can Participate?

• Native Malay speakers from Malaysia only
• Male and female participants eligible
• Comfortable in natural conversations
• Participants must have access to a smartphone

Recording Requirements

• Natural and free-flowing conversations
• Quiet environment preferred
• Clear voice quality required
• No AI-generated voice allowed
• Participants must follow recording instructions provided in the mobile application

Equipment Requirements

• Smartphone required
• No professional setup needed
• No laptop or external microphone required
