Detecta Language Agency is currently looking for experienced recruitment teams to support a Malay Read Speech Collection Project.

The objective of this project is to collect high-quality Malay read speech recordings for AI and speech recognition development. We are seeking reliable teams capable of recruiting eligible native Malay participants and ensuring high-quality recordings that meet project requirements.

Project Details

• Language: Malay
• Project Type: Read Speech Collection
• Required Participants: 200 Native Malay Participants
• Recording Duration: Approximately 40 Minutes per Participant
• Recording Task: Read 210 prompted sentences exactly as provided
• Project Deadline: 31 July
• Compensation: USD 12 per accepted participant

Who Can Participate?

• Participants must meet all of the following requirements:
• Native Malay ethnicity only
• Age: 18–60 years
• Male and Female participants (1:1 gender ratio)
• Able to read Malay naturally and clearly

Not Eligible:

• Chinese Malaysians
• Indian Malaysians
• Indonesians
• East Malaysian Indigenous Groups

Recording Requirements

• Read all prompted sentences naturally and clearly
• Follow the script exactly
• Do not add, skip, or change any words
• Use a neutral speaking style
• Record in a quiet indoor environment
• Use good-quality recording equipment

Quality Requirements

• Minimum acceptance rate: 90%
• One re-record opportunity is allowed per participant
• 90–95% Accuracy: Paid at 90%
• 95–100% Accuracy: Paid at 100%

Requirements for Recruitment Teams

• Ability to recruit qualified native Malay participants
• Experience in speech data collection projects is preferred
• Ability to meet recruitment targets and project deadlines
• Ensure participants have not previously joined this project through another vendor or team
