Detecta Language Agency is currently recruiting teams, vendors, recruiters, and bilingual participants for a Portuguese (Portugal)-English Simulated Customer Service Audio Recording Project.

This project involves recording realistic customer service conversations between native bilingual speakers using Zoom Desktop. The collected audio will support AI speech recognition, conversational AI, and multilingual language technology development.

Project Details:

• Language Pair: Portuguese (Portugal) ↔ English
• Project Type: Simulated Customer Service Audio Recording
• Recording Platform: Zoom Desktop
• Recording Mode: Fully Remote
• Participants: 2 Native Speakers per Group
• Recording Duration: 1.5 Hours Original Recording = 1 Valid Hour
• Note: Some languages may be eligible for 2.5 Hours of Original Recording

Who Can Apply?

• Native Portuguese (Portugal) speakers with English proficiency
• Portuguese-English bilingual speakers
• Teams, vendors, and recruitment partners
• Male and Female participants
• Participants with good communication skills
• Individuals familiar with Zoom Desktop are preferred

Recording Requirements:

• Simulate natural customer service conversations
• Follow the provided scenarios and project guidelines
• Record in a quiet indoor environment
• Ensure clear audio with minimal background noise
• Use Zoom Desktop for recording
• AI-generated voices are strictly prohibited

Zoom Recording Setup:

1. Open Zoom Desktop → Settings → Recording
2. Enable “Record a separate audio file for each participant.”
3. Optionally enable Stereo Audio and Original Sound for better quality.
4. Select “Record to this Computer.”

Required Output Files:

• audio_main.m4a – Mixed Track
• audio_attendee_A.m4a – Individual Track
• audio_yourself.m4a – Individual Track
