Detecta Language Agency is currently recruiting native Spanish speakers from Spain for an ASR Dual-Track Single-Channel Dialogue Recording Project.

The purpose of this project is to collect high-quality Spanish conversational audio data to support Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and AI language technologies.

Participants will engage in free-flowing conversations around assigned topics, including natural interruptions and overlapping speech patterns to simulate real-life dialogue scenarios.

Project Details

• Language: Spanish (Spain)
• Required Volume: 270 valid hours
• Recording Type: Dual-track single-channel dialogue recording
• Two speakers per group
• Each group will record approximately 2 valid hours
• 5 conversation topics assigned per group
• Approximately 30 minutes recording per topic

Who Can Participate?

• Native Spanish speakers from Spain
• Age range: 18–60 years
• Male/Female ratio approximately 1:1
• Participants from different regions and dialect backgrounds preferred
• Comfortable in natural free-flowing conversations

Recording Requirements

• Audio format: 48kHz, 16-bit, mono WAV
• Recording device: Mid-to-high-end smartphones
• Quiet bedroom or indoor environment required
• Dual-track recording mandatory
• Each speaker records their own voice separately during internet calls
• No cross-recording of the second speaker’s voice
• Natural conversations with interruptions and overlapping speech allowed
• AI-generated dialogue strictly prohibited
• Sensitive or inappropriate content prohibited

Audio Quality Standards

• Background noise ≤ -50 dB
• Voice amplitude ≥ 5000 smpl
• No clipping, electrical noise, or audio distortion
• No post-processing or noise reduction allowed

Sampling rate must be ≥ 44.1kHz

Speaker Authorization
All participants must sign the required data collection authorization form before recording. Speaker information must match submitted documentation.
