Detecta Language Agency is currently recruiting native Swedish speakers based in Sweden for a remote code-switching conversational recording project.

This project focuses on collecting natural conversations where participants seamlessly switch between Swedish (native language) and English (secondary language). The goal is to support the development of advanced AI systems and multilingual speech recognition technologies.

Participants will record conversations in pairs, ensuring natural dialogue flow while alternating between both languages.

Project Type
Code-switching recording involves naturally alternating between two languages within a single conversation.

Participants are expected to switch between Swedish and English in a spontaneous and realistic manner during conversations.

Example Conversation
Participants may follow a natural pattern like switching languages mid-conversation depending on context, tone, or topic.

Job Type

• Part-time
• Fully remote
• Flexible working hours
• Must complete assigned recordings within one week

Who Can Participate

• Native Swedish speakers (Sweden-based)
• Fluent in English
• Ability to naturally switch between Swedish and English
• Non-native speakers will not be accepted

General Requirements

• Recordings must involve 2 participants (pair-based conversations)
• Dual-channel audio recording required
• Clean audio (no background noise)
• Each conversation duration: approximately 10 minutes
• Maximum recording per pair: 1 hour
• AI-generated voice is strictly prohibited
• Conversations should cover domains such as:

1. Banking
2. Healthcare
3. Travel
